Florida Officially Bans Slots Games – Slots News

Now has come the time to Florida, when Governor Rick Scott signed the 155 bill that effective immediately, prohibits Internet cafes and slots games in the state and all kinds of adult gambling in street locations, although these are promoted as games of skill.

Shady Operations

Legislative action, which took effect immediately, was completed following the arrest earlier this month of 57 local owners and operators of the World Veterans Alliance, a chain of cafes based in Florida that was supposed to give their winnings to charity. “Today, Gov. Scott and the Legislature have ensured that these shady operations and not take advantage of Florida’s seniors and others who cannot afford to play,” commented the president of the group No Casinos in Florida, John Sowinski.
